Jahde Leather Atelier will debut their AW18 Collection during an exclusive runway show on October 18th, 2018. The event is hosted in partnership with The Vault on King, a unique studio and marketplace featuring work by nine female creatives, and Hampden Clothing, recognized by Vogue and Marie Claire as one of the top boutiques in the country.

“It’s an honor to reveal our latest AW18 Collection alongside creative community leaders like The Vault and Hampden Clothing,” says Andrea Jahde, founder of Jahde Leather Atelier.

Says Katie Grossenbacher of Hampden Clothing, “Our goal is to always make you feel your best, and that is why we love partnering with local female designers.”

During the show, designer Andrea Jahde will reveal her latest collection of luxury leather goods, including statement jewelry and bespoke handbags, all handmade in her Queen Street workshop. Attendees are also invited to enjoy drinks and light bites, browse artwork and locally-made goods on display, and meet Jahde and the nine artists-in-residence at The Vault.

“Our team strongly believes in supporting others and is passionate about being a haven for the creative community,” says Teeny Morrison, co-founder of The Vault on King. “The Vault's boundless and imaginative collaborations are constantly spotlighting ingenious visions in Charleston and throughout the country.”

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will support arts programming at Meeting Street Academy, a groundbreaking early education initiative founded upon the belief that all children deserve an excellent education regardless of their geographic or socioeconomic circumstances.

“An arts-rich experience is crucial to a holistic education,” says Dirk Bedford, MSA Principal. “Through their experience in the performing, visual and written arts at MSA, our scholars learn hard work and perseverance to become confident, well-rounded people.”

Adds Jahde, “Meeting Street Academy is such a special resource in our community and we’re excited to support their great work. Together, we can foster the next generation of creative minds in Charleston and beyond.”
